"Why every Indian wanna be the chief? Feed a man 'til he's full and he still want beef. Give me grief, try to thief off my piece, Why for you to increase, I must decrease? If I treat you kindly does it mean that I'm weak? You hear me speak and think I won't take it to the streets. I know enough cats that don't turn the other cheek, But I try to keep it civilized like Menelik." -Lauryn Hill

1) Nas one the battle on wax (Either > Takeover. Although I like both songs, Nas served up one of the top 5 disses in Hip-Hop history.)
2) Jay one the battle on the business side (Nas signed with Def Jam after his deal with Sony went sour)
3)Both have become icons of Hip-Hop, always making great moves for the game and known to speak out on issues.
4) Shown that Black folks can grow up and get over beef, thus giving us two dope ass tracks 2gether (ESPECIALLY Success)
4) Jay has B, Nas has Kelis...
If you ask me... it's a draw. But real talk, the real winner is Hip-Hop itself.
Nas won.. without a doubt.
