To all my L.A. friends...

Who will be going to Kanye's concert this week, I just want to let you know that I hate you dearly.

Have fun and take plenty of pictures for me!
(Even though I will secretly despise you as you're gloating and boasting about how incredible it was.)

Real Music

Yesterday, to my surprise and pure honor, Mulatto performed at CSUN. Ahhh, I couldn't even begin to tell you how real these guys are. They really do go hard.
Some of my favorite parts included their cover of Mint Condition's 'Pretty Brown Eyes' and the Kanye instant classic, 'Flashing Lights.'

I can honestly say that those guys are the absolute truth.
If you're not up on the greatest band ever, check them out at myspace.com/mulattomuzik

And trust me, they're even more amazing LIVE!
They truly are bringing real music back.

I just don't get it

Seriously Papoose, I really don't get it.

Why????
Answer that for me please.

I guess jailhouse love is where it's at.

I'm still waiting for someone to jump out and yell "Siiiiike!"

Anyday now...

I don't wanna wake up from you

If you haven't heard it by now, here's a new track from my girl Beyonce. The song was leaked a few days ago, here's what B had to say on her site:

Yesterday, “Beautiful Nightmare,” a demo I’ve been working on for possible inclusion on my next album leaked on some websites. I want to thank all my fans for the positive response to the song, but I want to tell you that this is just a work in progress. It is not my time to put out new music. If you really want to hear some really great music now, you have to support my girls Kelly, Michelle and my sister Solange. Kelly just re-released her album digitally in the US, so check out “Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe.” Michelle is about to put out the first single, “We Break The Dawn,” from her album and Solange’s single, “I Decided,” is already one of my favorites.

This is exactly why B is such a star. Listening to this song, it doesn't sound like typical Beyonce, but it still works. I love that she's never afraid to branch out and try new things and new sounds. I'm very interested in where she's going with this...

Beautiful Nightmare- Beyonce

You go get yours, and I'mma get Mine

Here's a few new tracks from that awesome talent, Estelle, who I told you guys about awhile back.

You know, for once, I would really love it if Swizz Beatz would shut the hell up. Stop featuring yourself on every track you produce dude. Can you give me the opportunity to read the damn credits to find out you produced it instead of yelling your life away on every song?
Seems like a bit of an attention whore if you ask me.

Anyway, check it out kiddos.

Shine- Estelle

And peep this one out too; It's featuring your man Cee Lo.

My New Obsession

I have a confession to make, and please don't judge me.

I'm a closet Danity Kane fanatic.

I really don't know how this happened because I'm usually not the one to pay any mind to any of Diddy's shenanigans. But, for once, I think he got something right. If you haven't copped their latest album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, you need to hurry up and be put on game. I seriously listen to it everyday. It goes further than any pop girl group has ever gone before. Yes, I vouch for Danity Kane.

I feel so much better now that I've gotten that off my chest. I'm no longer living a lie.

Here's one of my many favorite tracks off of the album. Listen to this beat arrangement...I love it.
